The dish drying rack and drainboard make it easy to air dry dishes right on kitchen counter tops. The drainboard catches water and spills to keep counters clean and dry. Glasses fit very comfortably in the tray and tray fits nicely on my countertop. This raised the drainer just enough so it would fit over the top of the sink lip. If the sink is set in/ with edge on counter, and rests so it’s not flush with countertop, it affects the efficiency of the draining system. But if you have no raised sink edge, the drainer can go any which way and the system will work fine.
This one looks great to me, good quality, although the fit of the basket into the grooves on the drain board is not perfect. When positioning the drainer by the sink, the side with the spout is higher thus offsetting the ability of the water to automatically drain into the sink. The swivel drain part is (or was in my case) connected to the tray with tiny plastic pressure tabs. An adjustable spout moves 360 degrees so water always drains into the kitchen sink. One reviewer said that the spout didn’t fit over their sink rim because of the placement of the legs. That said, my husband bought 4 rubber feet and just placed them under each corner of the drainer. I made improvements by setting a black cutting board along the left side and then setting the right side feet of the drain board on the raised sink edge. The second thing is my sink is about a half inch higher than the counter. It’s not a big deal but it does offset the automatic draining capability. Large enough to fit all the dishes from one meal for a family of 4. Water drain spout can be moved around so you have some leverage on placement of this dish drainer. I have a regular mount sink so the whole thing has to be behind the metal trim. I don’t know why they don’t make the bottom with higher legs in the back so it tilts to the sink.
